I had the absolute pleasure to shoot Audrey and Mitchell’s garden wedding. During our in-person consultation, Audrey, and her mother, Liz, let me in all the details and plans for the garden wedding. I was super excited to see how everything turned out and I knew it would be just beautiful! I am not a photographer only because I love to take photos, but also because it genuinely makes me happy to see people’s love stories and be a part of their special day. It is my mission to make lasting memories that couples can look back on, smile, remember how everything looked and the feelings and emotions that arose on their dream day.
When we arrived to capture getting-ready photos, decorations were already up. We were a little early and I couldn’t resist but to take out the cameras right-away start to capture all the pretty little details! They chose pink and white for the color palette. Everything was simple and elegant, with dazzling fresh flowers accents.
As we walked toward the door, Mitchell walked by, already dressed and ready to go. You could see in his face that he was looking forward to being united as one with his lovely bride as Mr and Mrs Conyers.

When we walked into the room, the bride, mother of the bride, and the bride’s mother in law were all getting ready together. To see more, click the photo and the right arrow.
Out of the blue, the groom sent over a love letter for his bride. It’s nice to see how one letter can cause giggles, smiles, and happy tears! When dad came in, he was breath-taken once he saw his daughter ready, in her dress, for the very first time. On a little nightstand, lay gifts for the bride’s mother and father. They both were pleasantly surprised to receive them.
Then, right before it all happened, carefully, without seeing each other, the bride and groom held hands on opposite sides of the door. The groom said a prayer which made all of our hearts melt, and everyone in the room enjoyed seeing a couple of tears form in his eyes, because what is cuter than a groom getting teary-eyed on his special day? It’s amazing to be able to capture these meaningful moments.
The groom’s grandfather officiated the beautiful garden wedding. Guests were fully engaged in the ceremony and loved seeing Audrey and Mitchell exchange vows and officially become husband and wife. Bear hugs and happy tears filled the area after the ceremony, as newlyweds were greeted by each guest. Consequently, the couple performed their first dance.
Afterward, we went on to take the bride and groom photos. Family is very important to Audrey and Mitchell. We made sure to get group-shots of all guests and small groups too.
A prayer was said before the tasty, buffet-style brunch. Guests mingled as they listened to classical music and enjoyed their delicious food (and yes, I know it was delicious because I was given some too). Here are a few details from the reception.
Their home is flooded with love and faith. I can’t tell you just how sweet and graceful this family was and how welcome they made us feel. This is something I am always truly appreciative of. Congratulations Mr & Mrs Conyers and may your future continue to be filled with love and happiness!
